A race of short humanoids.
Halflings are a race of people who are nimble as they are well-built.
They live quiet, peaceful lives, and try to avoid conflict if they can. Their bodies do not resist the effects of powerful magic, making them capable of only harnessing simple spells.
Halflings are most similar to humans, having very similar anatomy with the exception of size.
Their ears are large, and more mobile than those of humans, and they always bear a tail. They’re agile, and fast, built for quick escape.
Gender is not a very important concept in their culture, everyone being treated the same regardless of labels and such.
They use pronouns and classify genders, but they do not have specific societal expectations in regards to any of them.
They are very friendly and amiable, baring their souls for anyone willing to see.
They’re loyal, open-minded, and defend their loved ones with ferocity.
Halflings tend to live in big communities where resources are equally distributed, much like fortiens.
Because the world caters so much to the taller humanoids of Eternira, they often struggle to find clothing in their sizes, or establishments with accommodations to suit them.
Their size often leads to their discrimination. Elves, especially, can be mean about those who are smaller and less long-lived as they are.
Some, however, like them a little too much because of these attributes.
